Books of Note

A Mission Statement

Before anyone goes accusing me of slathering books in ketchup and devouring them at mealtimes, please note that being a bibliovore is a means to sate intellectual hunger. Like cinevores and audiovores, my chosen mental food is the sort that could easily parlay itself into a lifestyle. I could be (and I suspect I am) like one of your vegan friends who corners you at a buffet and explains really intensely that the cheese piled on your plate is only there because people exploit the cow's labor.

I want to grab you by the shoulders and shake you until you forget where you put the television remote. Read. It's the best thing you could possibly do for yourself. It helps your brain form new neural pathways. You learn big words. Concepts that previously escaped you soon become clear. You have constant Eureka moments. Long dead philosophers will talk to you. Poetry will become beautiful. Your life will be enriched.

Let me help you. First, we'll find a library together.  Ready?  Click the link below.
